formerly incorporated with the NC Secretary of State on September 17, 2002.
Uprising Homes, Inc was established as a result of the desire and need to care for
individuals with Mental Illness, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse
disabilities and the lack of residential treatment and periodic service providers in the
Albemarle, Bertie, Hertford, and Pitt Counties. Uprising Homes, Inc believes in
providing quality mental health services on a level where the consumer understands
and ensure they are an active participant in the development of their Person Centered
Plan and improvement in mental health. Uprising Homes, Inc is an organization
established "For the People, By the People, and With the People."
